Dear Friends,

Thank you for a wonderful Erev Shabbat davening last Friday night - Warren and Leora were excellent leaders and it was a great way to celebrate Warren's 21st birthday on the sly. We meet again this Friday evening and we're looking for a host -- please send a shout if you can open your home to us.

Also, thanks to those who showed up at the Rubulad party this past Motzei Shabbat. The whole point of having a minyan like Kol haKfar is enshrined in the joy and downtown attidute -- and ultra-yiddishkeit -- of Golem. Punk rock meets the shtetl, traditional davening meets progressive ideals, Jews and non-Jews mingle, interact and improve upon each other. If people hear of other avant garde Jewish parties please pass them along.

Speaking of avant garde Jews, our man Asher Weiss plays at Crash Mansion this Thursday night. Show up at 7:30pm for free bourbon, Asher's band Eschaton goes on at 8pm.
