Kol haKfar, the downtown egalitarian minyan, is looking for someone to host the minyan this Friday evening in the East Village or Lower East Side. If your apartment is available please let us know asap at kolhakfar@yahoo.com.

Why the east side? Bialystoker Schul, a lovely old synagogue off of Grand Street, is hosting a free community dinner after we daven at Kol haKfar. It'd be great if we could walk over to the schul as a group. If you'd like to attend the meal, please RSVP to lesshabbatexperience@yahoo.com. As of now we have a few people committed to go.

Also, Town & Village synagogue is hosting another "Synaplex" event on Friday night - go to http://www.tandv.org/ for info - but since we've been there before we thought Bialystoker would be a great place to check out. http://www.bialystoker.org/who.htm And did we mention it's free?
