Shalom friends,

Kol haKfar, the downtown egalitarian minyan, gathers this Friday night to celebrate Shabbat and enjoy a festive holiday meal. We'll honor the Yomim haNora'im, the Days of Awe, with New Year's and a variety of kosher wines. Please join us in celebration for an insightful, healthy and joyous start to 5733.

RSVP's are not required so feel free to show up, but we invite you to fill out our spreadsheet -- http://bit.ly/hwR 5sg -- to tell us what you're bringing. The host will serve a dairy main course and the minyan will spot us wine, we ask that you please bring a New Years food from any of the many great Jewish culinary traditions. We're talking salads with pomegranate seeds, honey cake, fish, apples and any other tradition, new or old.

Zachary Thacher's place, 7pm
(email us at kolhakfar@yahoo.com for the address)

In other news, please be on the lookout for our Sukkot celebration plans...

Please bring friends this Friday -- we're looking to share the Kol haKfar experience with new friends in the new year.

Shana tova,

Zachary from KhK
